IVOKOLO – Godar prepares for his first ‘One Man Show’

Comedian Godar is reaching a new milestone with his first solo show, scheduled for October 10th at 3:00 PM at Ivokolo Analakely.

Alone before the audience, but with a multitude of stories to tell, Godar is preparing to take on a new challenge. Known by this stage name, Miranto Andriamampita will present his first “One Man Show,” a performance dedicated to humor and scenes from daily life.

“I will talk about daily life with 100% humor: funny situations in society, current and past artists, as well as situations encountered at work, specifically targeting young people and adults,” he explains.

Accustomed to performing alongside other comedians, Godar will be mainly alone on stage this time. An experience that requires, according to him, significant preparation. However, a few comedian friends are expected to participate in the show. The artist primarily wishes to offer “humor in different forms, beyond simple stand-up.”

Godar’s artistic adventure began thanks to the encouragement of his father, who guided him toward dramatic arts with Henri Randrianierenana. The latter reportedly spotted his comedic potential and encouraged him to exploit it. Godar then took his first steps on stage during “Talenta sy Kanto” at CCESCA Antanimena.

Gradually, his talent allowed him to be noticed by figures of Malagasy humor. Francis Turbo and Gothlieb notably gave him the opportunity to perform their opening acts. He also participated in “Fetin’ny Maman tu” at Antsahamanitra with LH Pro.

Beyond humor, Godar is also a radio host and an actor in Malagasy films. He works in parallel within an NGO and pursues a professional activity related to his university training.

His inspiration comes mainly from observing his environment and current events.
