SPECTACLE – The Lion King roars at CCI Ivato

Simba and his companions are coming back to life on the stage of the CCI Ivato. After three successful performances, the musical “The Lion King” returns this Saturday for a new show blending music, dance, and acting. This fourth performance extends the adventure of this Okalou production, inviting both young and old to rediscover the world of this masterpiece.

Several artists will reprise their roles, notably Manantsoa as adult Simba, Oliver as young Simba, Mendrika as Mufasa, Gothlieb as Scar, Ismael as Timon, and Tsinjo as Pumbaa. Kanto will embody adult Nala for the first time, alongside Fy-Tiana, who will play young Nala. Other artists will also participate in this new performance.

The artistic direction is entrusted to Fanoy Éddy, while Ando Mbolatiana is in charge of the choreography. Through this production, Okalou aims to promote the skills of Malagasy artists in the field of live performance. “This fourth edition is also our way of thanking those who have followed us from the beginning,” emphasizes Andy Rasoanarivo, General Manager of Okalou.
