Young Malagasy driver Mika Rasoamaromaka has secured his third success in the Rally3 class at the Rallye de Lozère, a round of the French Gravel Rally Championship.
That makes three. The 2022 Madagascar champion, Mika Rasoamaromaka, accompanied by Mélissa Declerck behind the wheel of a Renault Clio Rally3, has clinched his third victory of the season. Ranked fourteenth in the general classification across all categories, the crew finished on the top step of the podium in their class for the third time during the 15th edition of the Rallye Terre de Lozère.
The Mika-Declerck duo delivered a near-perfect rally, setting the fastest time in their class in nine out of the ten stages contested on Saturday and Sunday. The Fan Meca Sport crew dominated their class, even outpacing several competitors in higher categories before a puncture on Saturday slowed their momentum. They made a brilliant comeback on Sunday, finishing with a flawless performance.
The Villiod-Pascaud crew took second place in the class, while the Jacquot-Delcambre duo completed the podium. In the general classification, the victory went to the Todeschini-Barral crew in a Skoda Fabia Rally2.
Mika Rasoamaromaka and Mélissa Declerck had previously won the Rallye Terre de Castine in early March. In May, alongside Jeanne Rey, the Malagasy driver also secured victory at the 4th Rallye Terre d’Aléria in Corsica.
