Traffic will be disrupted in Antanimena starting September 1st. Pipeline development work will modify traffic conditions in several sectors of the neighborhood until October 4th. One lane will be closed, and others will operate on a half-road basis.
The road connecting Antanimena-Haut to the Croix du Sud Pharmacy will be completely closed for the duration of the construction. Traffic will also be reduced on the lane coming from Behoririka leading to Magro. The section connecting the Croix du Sud Pharmacy to the exit towards Magro in Behoririka will also be subject to half-road traffic.
However, some routes will remain accessible. The road connecting Antanimena to Jovena will be open. The road located in front of Victoria Plaza Antanimena will also remain partially passable.
Regarding public transport, the ‘taxibe’ (minibus taxis) heading to Analakely will resume their usual route. Users will thus be able to continue reaching the city center despite the restrictions planned on several lanes.
These measures will remain in effect until October 4th, the scheduled end date for the work. Motorists are urged to take note of the traffic changes on the affected axes and plan their trips accordingly.
