EVENT – International Housing Fair concludes with record attendance

The International Housing Fair (SIH) concluded yesterday at the CCI Ivato. The 27th edition of this event, organized by Madavision, saw significant enthusiasm. The event recorded over 23,000 visitors over four days, from October 22 to 25. This turnout “confirms its position among the major housing and construction events in the Indian Ocean,” the organizer stated.

The event, held under the theme “Madagascar in motion: imagining and building the space of tomorrow,” brought together 150 exhibitors across more than 250 stands. The sectors represented ranged from construction and development to furniture, decoration, equipment, and energy solutions.

Beyond attendance, the fair served as a platform for meetings between companies, experts, and visitors, leading to business opportunities. It also highlighted new industry trends and exhibitor innovations. Conferences were held throughout the event, focusing on the challenges of housing and construction.

The fair will return for a 28th edition, for which the organizer promises more offers, more innovations, and a strengthened international ambition. “The goal is to reinforce its professional positioning, expand its international reach, and offer sector players an increasingly attractive platform conducive to meetings, partnerships, and business opportunities,” according to Madavision.

The 28th edition is expected to feature more offers, novelties, and discoveries to meet the expectations of both professionals and the general public, further strengthening the influence of the International Housing Fair in Madagascar and the Indian Ocean.
