The fourth round of the championship promises to be electric. Since Wednesday, motorsport enthusiasts have been sharing news on social media about the arrival of the Volkswagen Polo S3000 R30 at Ivato Airport. This 1,300-horsepower, four-wheel-drive vehicle belongs to German driver and tuner Ben Rauch, founder of the company Don Octane, which specializes in drag racing car preparation.
This “monster,” prepared by Don Octane, is touted as “the fastest Polo in the world,” having set a record time of 7.60 seconds at the Santa Pod Raceway. Specialized mechanics pages on Facebook and local enthusiasts suggest that Nouroudine Mamodaly may have acquired it, and that the Audi TT belonging to the 2025 Madagascar champion already has a new owner.
When reached by phone, Nouroudine declined to confirm the news for now, vaguely mentioning the possibility: “Perhaps the owner wants to drive it himself… You will see on-site on the day of the event.”
The “East Coast” event, organized by the Run Mada club in Toamasina on October 31 and November 1, serves as the fourth and penultimate round of the Madagascar championship, promising plenty of suspense and spectacle. Run Mada driver Tahiana “Jaytaxx” Rasolojaona, behind the wheel of a BMW E30, currently leads the provisional standings with 67 points. Nouroudine follows in second place, thanks to his victories in the last two rounds.
