With unprecedented ambition, former national team coach and manager of major clubs like CFFA and Tana Formation, Titi Rasoanaivo, has teamed up with a group of technicians to establish a youth football training club named “Delta United.” “This is not just a training center, but a training club. It is our contribution to the development of Malagasy football by preparing the next generation. We will identify young talents aged 16-17 and 18-19. The main objective is to guide these players toward foreign clubs in Europe, Africa, the Indian Ocean region, or elite local clubs,” stated Titi Rasoanaivo and his team.
“We are currently in contact with, among others, Slovakian recruitment agents, and we intend to bring them to Madagascar. They have been impressed by talents discovered during U15 scouting sessions in recent years,” Coach Titi added.
Delta United will launch a series of scouting sessions in the capital and its surrounding areas after the baccalaureate exams, as the target age group is directly involved. The operation will then be gradually extended to the rest of the country. “Selected talents will be grouped and trained in the capital. The club will participate in the Analamanga championship before considering other prospects based on its progress,” the technician explained. “We also plan to participate in international tournaments in Europe to increase the visibility of our players,” he concluded.
