The Malagasy aeronautics sector will gather from December 5 to 7 at Ivato International Airport for the second edition of the Air Show. Following the success of the inaugural edition in 2024 and a one-year hiatus in 2025 due to the political climate, this event—organized by the Civil Aviation of Madagascar (ACM) in celebration of International Civil Aviation Day (ICAD)—is back on track.
According to the ACM, the event will bring together key industry players, including airlines, private companies, public institutions, and technical and financial partners. Beyond its public-facing nature, the show serves as a platform for dialogue aimed at supporting the development of civil aviation in Madagascar. Conferences, exhibitions, and professional meetings will provide opportunities to address the sector’s challenges.
The ACM intends for this show to be a space for reflection on the challenges of air transport in Madagascar. The event aims to strengthen exchanges between professionals and foster new collaborations. Another key objective mentioned by the organizers is to inspire young people to pursue careers in aeronautics, thereby supporting the sustainable development of the industry.
