The Malagasy National Television (TVM) is enriching its programming schedule with ‘Russamada TV’, a new weekly show dedicated to the relations between Madagascar and Russia. Broadcast every Thursday at 7:00 PM, it aims to inform the public about the main pillars of cooperation between the two countries.
Presented by journalist Fabienne Andomalala Rakotomananjo, the show will cover news on Russo-Malagasy cooperation while highlighting culture, history, and partnership prospects in various sectors.
The program is supported by the African Initiative and the Russo-Malagasy Friendship House, in partnership with TVM. Following its initial broadcast on social media and the Malagasy National Radio (RNM), this new television version aims to reach a wider audience across the national territory.
Structured around four segments, the show will feature a retrospective on the major milestones of cooperation between Madagascar and Russia, presented by Antsa Rahadraniriana. Another segment will be dedicated to bilateral partnership news, while a Russian language initiation segment will be hosted by Nadiejda Doubinina, a Russian language teaching specialist from Saint Petersburg.
The launch of this program is part of the momentum to strengthen exchanges between the two countries, as they approach the 55th anniversary of their cooperation, which will be celebrated in 2027.
