OFFICIAL EXAM – Digital monitoring to ensure the integrity of the 2026 Baccalaureate exams

T-minus 3 days. With the 2026 Baccalaureate exams approaching, the government is strengthening security measures to ensure the smooth conduct of this national examination. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Security, has implemented digital monitoring and a zero-tolerance policy against any attempts to destabilize the process.

A total of 233,538 candidates will sit for the general Baccalaureate exam from July 20 to 23. The session will continue until July 30 for the 10,859 candidates enrolled in technical education. The digital monitoring system, operational since the beginning of this week, aims to prevent threats such as the spread of misinformation on social media.

This digital watch is tasked with monitoring online platforms to detect suspicious content, identify those behind fake exam papers, or catch fraud attempts. It also combats disinformation and reports findings to competent authorities immediately. The Ministry noted that false claims about exam leaks have been circulating, causing confusion among candidates and their families.

The intentional spread of false information, or the sale and sharing of alleged exam subjects, are offenses subject to legal prosecution. The Ministry emphasized that a zero-tolerance policy applies to any fraud attempt. Candidates, parents, and citizens are urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious publications to the authorities to preserve the integrity of the official exam.
