Podium finish. International Grand Tourisme 3 (GT3) driver Iaro Razanakoto, alongside Thai-Norwegian Sandy Kraokew Stuvik, a three-time champion of Thailand, drove an Audi R8 Evo II GT3 to a third-place finish at the Bangsaen Grand Prix GT3 this weekend. This race served as the second round of the Thailand Super Series GT3. With this result, the duo secured their ticket for their first appearance at the world championship in Japan, the date of which remains to be confirmed.
“We could have done better. Sandy suffered a puncture in his turn, and we lost a few places,” recounted Iaro Razanakoto. The team had been left unranked on Saturday following a tire puncture at the end of the thirty-minute mark.
The duo of Iaro and Sandy kicked off their season in late May at the Buriram International Circuit in Thailand, marking the opening of the Thailand Super Series season, where they had previously finished third in the qualifying rounds.
