Maminiaina Ravatomanga was released from prison for a few hours yesterday morning before being taken to the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court of Mauritius. Several law enforcement officers escorted him to the office where the hearing was scheduled to take place.
This hearing of Mamy Ravatomanga by the registrar of the Mauritian Supreme Court follows an order issued by a judge of that jurisdiction on May 25, 2026. According to available information, questions concerning the Boeing 777 aircraft case in Madagascar, which traveled to Iran, were put to the businessman at the request of the Malagasy State.
After his hearing, Mamy Ravatomanga briefly met with his wife and daughter. According to local media, he reportedly burst into tears.
