INSECURITY – The Presidency releases a series of videos regarding a Presidential Guard mission on the kidnapping of albino children

The Presidential Guard has reported back. Following a multi-day mission in the South, members of the Presidential Guard deployed to investigate cases of kidnapping and murder of albino children have returned with video evidence documenting their findings. The footage, shared on the Presidency’s Facebook page and distributed to the media, features testimonies from individuals identified as being involved in these cases.

The videos contain accounts presented as confessions and reenactments of the events. They detail the alleged modus operandi of the perpetrators, the circumstances of the kidnappings, the movement of the victims, the homicides, and the existence of a trafficking network for the organs of albino children. They also describe the alleged structure of the network, the specific roles assigned to the detainees, and the suspected links between those responsible for the kidnappings and murders and those tasked with the transport or commercialization of the organs harvested from the victims.

According to the Presidency, the field investigations conducted by the Presidential Guard, which included military personnel, gendarmes, and police officers, led to the arrest of 15 men and one gendarme. Transferred to Antananarivo, these suspects are currently in the custody of the police and gendarmerie in charge of the investigations, pending their appearance before the public prosecutor.
