The Final Four is set. Six clubs from Analamanga, including three men’s and three women’s teams, have qualified for the semi-finals of the Madagascar 2nd Division Cup.
In the men’s category, GNVB defeated VBC Diamant from Analamanga 3-0 yesterday at the Ankorondrano gymnasium in the quarter-finals. BMVB eliminated Scoop Digital Volleyball from Analamanga 3-0. Meanwhile, TVBC knocked out AST from Analamanga 3-0. GSVBC from Atsimo-Andrefana, the only team from the region to qualify, defeated CS Anjanahary 3-1.
In the men’s semi-finals, the Gendarmes will face the Toliara team, while BMVB will play against TVBC. On the women’s side, EVBE from Vakinankaratra, the only club from the region to qualify, will face Squad. The second match will be an all-Analamanga affair between Voara and VBCD. Twelve teams divided into two groups are competing in the men’s category, and seven in the women’s, also divided into two pools.
