A man was fatally stabbed in Anosizato Andrefana the night before last. He was returning home via a quiet road around 11 p.m. when he was attacked. Initial findings suggest a suspicious death, potentially a homicide. The Gendarmerie in charge of the sector has opened an investigation.
The victim, who was very young, was known to many for his passion for metal music. His loved ones are deeply saddened by his passing. The scene of the tragedy is described as an area relatively prone to banditry.
“It was at 2 a.m. that the victim’s friend alerted us. We went to the indicated location, but he was no longer there, as his family had already taken him. We then examined the body at his home in the morning. The man had received a single stab wound. We do not yet know what might have been stolen from him. The friend who was accompanying him that night is among those already questioned. For the moment, no one has been taken into police custody,” stated the gendarme in charge of the case.
