INTERNATIONAL FAIRS – Agriculture and gastronomy on display in Ivato

Agriculture and gastronomy are in the spotlight in Ivato this week. From September 10 to 13, the Ivato International Conference Center (CCI) is simultaneously hosting the 8th edition of the International Fair for Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries (FIA) and the 2nd edition of the International Gastronomy Fair (FIG).

This dual event, organized by Madavision, brings together key players in the sector around a common ambition: “Produce, Transform, Valorize, Develop.” As a true crossroads for opportunities, exchanges, and discoveries, the event brings together more than 220 exhibitors and expects over 25,000 visitors. The program includes business meetings, innovations, tastings, a livestock park, a children’s area, and various entertainment, featuring a concert by Samoëla.

“The FIA and FIG were designed to bring different audiences together around the same dynamic. Discover more than 220 exhibitors, meet producers, entrepreneurs, and professionals, discover Malagasy products and know-how, taste and discover gastronomy, explore innovations, enjoy a family event, and attend various activities,” says the organizer.

Furthermore, this edition of the gastronomy fair will particularly highlight the flavors, products, and talents of Malagasy cuisine.
