Ten young Malagasy people are set to depart for several months of volunteering abroad. They will travel to France for a period of 9 to 12 months as part of volunteer missions offered by partners of France Volontaires Madagascar.
They will be hosted in six French regions to carry out missions related to the environment and sustainable development, education and educational support, activities for early childhood and youth, as well as the inclusion and support of people with disabilities.
On the occasion of their departure, France Volontaires Madagascar organized a meeting on Friday in Antsakaviro, bringing together these new volunteers and several Malagasy volunteers who recently returned from missions in France.
Before their departure, the young people benefited from a preparatory training course to help them anticipate the various dimensions of their mobility, better understand their host environment, and prepare for the realities of their future mission and daily life in France.
Through this support, France Volontaires Madagascar contributes to preparing volunteers for the different stages of their journey, from departure to return, emphasizes Niry Ramarojaonina, National Representative of France Volontaires.
