Pétanque – National de Mulhouse: Lova, Baloti, and Bondy in a dominant display

A one-sided final. The second Malagasy team, composed of Lova Rakotoarisoa (shooter), Steph James Bondy Rakotonirina (pointer), and Faralahy Urbain Joseph Ramanantiaray (middle), secured a decisive victory at the National de Mulhouse this weekend.

Mada2 triumphed in yesterday’s final with a score of 13-4 against the Vaulx-en-Velin triplet of Romain Fournié, Kevin Malbec, and Pierrot Arnaud. The match lasted exactly one hour. The Malagasy team dominated and led throughout all nine ends of the final.

In the semi-finals, Madagascar defeated the team of Eric Petit Jean, Nicky Gargowitch, and Bruno Moretti. In the quarter-finals, Baloti’s squad eliminated the Bazin brothers, Samuel and Nicolas, alongside David Benhamou. Notably, Mada2 had previously eliminated the first team from the Great Island—comprising Tafita Angelo Andriamahandry, Jean Mickaël Ratolojanahary, and Tiana Laurens Razanadrakoto—in the round of 32, in an all-Malagasy clash.
