The Jacques Rabemananjara High School in Toamasina, which was destroyed by Cyclone Gezani, was able to host the 2026 BEPC examination session. This public institution was provided with numerous school supplies to make this organization possible. Airtel Madagascar, through the Airtel Africa Foundation, officially handed over school furniture to the Jacques Rabemananjara High School in Toamasina. Its five classrooms were equipped with student desks and benches, blackboards, cabinets, as well as tables and chairs for teachers. Airtel Madagascar also contributed to improving the school environment by painting the institution’s outer perimeter fence.
This contribution complements the classroom renovation work carried out by the Toamasina Autonomous Port Management Company (SPAT), as part of a partnership aimed at offering the youth of the country’s economic capital safer, more dignified, and more conducive learning conditions for success. “A renovated and equipped classroom offers students the best conditions to learn and build their future. By supporting education alongside our partners, we are contributing sustainably to the development of the communities we serve,” stated Anne Catherine Tchokonté, General Manager of Airtel Madagascar.
