Training offers will be adapted to the labor market. The Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training will organize national meetings for the reform of technical education and vocational training on August 11 and 12 in Mahajanga.
“The goal is to identify what exists in each region. Training programs will be adjusted accordingly to match the needs of the job market, while developing the capacity to leverage available resources,” explained Todisoa Andriamampandry, Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training, during the official announcement of these meetings yesterday in Ampefiloha.
This event is part of the implementation of the revised General State Policy and efforts to modernize the education system in Madagascar. This initiative will serve as a major platform for consultation between the State and its partners to develop a sustainable reform of the technical education and vocational training sector.
Discussions during these meetings will focus on improving the quality of training, expanding access for young people in all regions, and ensuring alignment with the needs of the labor market and productive sectors. At the end of this meeting, strategic proposals and guidelines will be formulated to reform the technical education system. The objective is, in particular, to improve its governance, enhance the quality of training, and help young Malagasy people access decent and productive jobs.
