RELIGION – Pastor Mailhol receives national distinction

The “Apokalypsy” church celebrated its 30th anniversary in Madagascar on Saturday at the Barea Stadium in Mahamasina. The ceremony brought together church followers, religious leaders, and several institutional representatives, in the presence of Colonel Michaël Randrianirina, president of the Refondation.

Presided over by Pastor Dieu Donné Mailhol, the celebration provided an opportunity to reflect on the three decades of the “Apokalypsy” church’s presence in the country. Today, the church has around twenty chapters and also carries out social initiatives for the population.

The meeting was marked by several speeches, notably that of Colonel Michaël Randrianirina, who reminded those present that Christians contribute to the building of the country and the improvement of society. “Let us build Madagascar, let us renew ourselves starting with the spirit and the soul,” he declared, while also calling for the fight against corruption, divisions, and the difficulties that weaken society.

The celebration was also highlighted by the awarding of the “Grand Officer of the National Order” distinction to Pastor Mailhol, in recognition of his social commitment and his work for the population.
