Work related to the Baccalaureate began immediately after the exams with the correction of papers, which spanned several days. According to Professor Angelo Raherinirina, Director General of Higher Education at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the schedule varies from one university to another, with each institution organizing operations according to its own timeline once papers are transported to correction centers.
In Toliara, the correction of general education papers is already finished. For technical education, the second week of correction concludes this Friday. Grade transcription and verification steps will only begin after this correction is finalized.
The 233,538 candidates registered for the 2026 Baccalaureate session, including nearly 11,000 in technical education, will have to wait until the completion of transcription, verification, and deliberation operations. Results for this exam are generally published about a month after the tests, once all these stages are finalized.
