The Maitso Hasin’i Madagasikara party continues its local awareness-raising efforts centered on a societal project based on a green revolution. The party is increasing its regional tours to promote this vision to the population. Following visits to the northwest of the country, members of its national political bureau traveled to the southeast to continue this initiative.
“Green politics, which aims to reconcile human beings with nature, is an essential path to building a sustainable future. It is based on concrete actions and a participatory approach serving the country’s development,” stated Stevene Ranaivoson, the party’s national coordinator, during the tour. Maitso Hasin’i Madagasikara is also preparing its proposals for the upcoming national consultation.
Party activists across Madagascar are advocating for a policy focused on the sustainable development of rural areas.
“This requires strengthening economic sectors such as agriculture, livestock, and fishing, as well as restoring landscapes and forests,” the national coordinator specified.
