FOOTBALL – TRANSFER – FC Rouge sounds the alarm

In uncertainty. The “irregular transfer” of an FC Rouge player, known by the pseudonym “Tinho,” has recently caught the attention of many Malagasy football enthusiasts. The player recently joined a club in the Seychelles without the consent of his current club, where he has been under contract since the beginning of the season.

“We only learned the news when we saw a photo taken at Ivato upon his departure,” emphasized Hasina Rakotondramiara, president of the Madagascar Cup-winning club, FC Rouge.

Club officials expressed their astonishment, as no release letter had been issued to him. For now, the club will attempt an amicable settlement of the matter. “Let’s come back to the table and discuss,” reiterated the club boss. Otherwise, the club’s management will not hesitate to enforce the laws in force, as no negotiations or agreements were made with the player or the receiving club.

The question remains: “Who issued his release letter?” FC Rouge is calling on the competent authorities to handle this case to prevent such practices from recurring. The club also denies claims that the player’s transfer was invalid when he joined FC Rouge. “It is not obvious. He is even listed in the FIFA Connect databases as our player. And why didn’t we receive any complaints from other clubs during the championship or the cup throughout the season?” the club officials clarified.
