A new appointment has been made within the first-degree jurisdiction of the Anti-Corruption Pole (PAC) in Mahajanga and Antsiranana. During a solemn hearing held last Thursday, Voriandro Jean Prosper was officially installed as the new prosecutor.
The judicial ceremony took place at the new PAC headquarters in Ambondrona, attended by the national coordinator of the anti-corruption system, the head of the Boeny region, and local judicial and administrative authorities.
On this occasion, the new prosecutor outlined his main priorities, including strengthening cooperation with security forces and the prison administration, as well as improving communication within the PAC.
“The fight against corruption will not be an empty word, and regaining public trust will be our goal. We will improve working methods and strengthen communication. We will also conduct field visits and increase the number of mobile court hearings, or ‘fitsarana mitety vohitra’. We will ensure that the public no longer has to travel for services by utilizing new technologies,” the new prosecutor stated.
