What if artistic talent could become a real profession? This is the ambition of the Talent Growth Lab (TGL), a new initiative by JCI Iarivo launched as part of the second edition of its Accelerator for Creative Talent (ACT 2026) program. Aimed at young artists and creators, the project seeks to bridge the gap between talent, professionalization, and market realities.
Open to young people aged 18 to 35, the TGL targets profiles from various performing disciplines, including dance, music, singing, performing arts, and other original stage talents. The program also intends to identify those who have talent but do not yet know how to develop, promote, or transform it into an economic activity. Minors may also participate, subject to parental authorization.
The journey began on September 19 with the conference “From Passion to Business, Just One Step,” held at the Analakely Municipal Library. The competition continues with the TGL Grand Talent Contest casting on October 10, followed by a Prime event on October 17 and a final on October 24 at the Orange Digital Center in Soarano. The program will conclude with a Grand Gala on October 31 at Pizza Factory Ambohibao.
Through this program, JCI Iarivo aims to promote the professionalization of young talents through awareness and support actions centered on artistic entrepreneurship. The winner will receive a prize of 1 million ariary. Beyond this endowment, the Talent Growth Lab primarily seeks to provide participants with tools to better value their expertise and view their talent from a professional and entrepreneurial perspective.
Coordinated by Mathieu Razakamahefa, ACT 2026 project director at JCI Iarivo, the program takes place mainly in Antananarivo. Information and registration are available on the official JCI Iarivo Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn pages.
