The 2026 national exams are being reviewed to address identified flaws and better prepare for the 2027 session. A meeting opened on October 6 at the National Institute for Pedagogical Training (INFP) in Mahamasina to examine the organization of the tests. Teachers, school principals, and representatives of law enforcement are participating in the discussions, in the presence of the Minister of National Education, Sendra Nirina Rajaonarison.
The security of exam papers, their distribution, and the necessary material resources are among the main points being examined. The difficulties encountered by agents of the National Center for the Production of Didactic Materials (Cnapmad), particularly delays in the availability of certain equipment, were raised. The transport of exam papers to districts and regions also remains a point of vigilance.
The leakage of exam subjects before the start of the tests was also discussed. Strengthening prevention and security measures is considered necessary to ensure the regularity of the exams and maintain the trust of candidates.
According to the Minister, the 2026 exams generally took place under good conditions, despite some aspects needing improvement. The month of October will be dedicated to identifying the necessary adjustments to better prepare for the 2027 tests.
