The Kenyan team, the defending champions, remains in the race to retain their title.
As the title holder and ten-time continental champion, Kenya will play in front of its home crowd. Fueled by the fervor of the Kasarani Arena, the Kenyan selection had a convincing run in the first round, securing four victories against Zambia, Mali, Nigeria, and Algeria, while conceding only one set.
However, Cameroon emerges as a formidable opponent. Three-time African champions, the Indomitable Lionesses arrive in Nairobi with the ambition of reclaiming the title. The Cameroonians have recorded four clean 3-0 victories against Ghana, Tunisia, Nigeria, and Uganda. Like Egypt, Cameroon has not conceded a single set since the start of the competition.
Egypt enters the final four as a favorite. Imperial since the beginning of the tournament, the Egyptians boast a record of five wins in as many matches, without conceding a single set against Burkina Faso, Senegal, Uganda, Burundi, and Tunisia.
Standing against this solid team is Rwanda, the tournament’s true sensation. The Rwandans defied expectations by putting together an almost perfect group stage run, with clear victories against Algeria, DR Congo, Burkina Faso, and Ghana. Free from pressure, they will aim for a historic qualification for the final.
