Seventeen Malagasy companies are preparing to participate in an international exhibition in China to showcase their products and forge new partnerships.
The government is making progress in opening up commercial opportunities in China. On the occasion of an international event dedicated to the exhibition and export of products in that country, to which Malagasy companies are invited to participate from November 6 to 11, the Antananarivo Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Commerce and Consumption are organizing the Malagasy participation.
This event is open to entrepreneurs and companies specializing in the production of Malagasy goods. Seventeen companies are preparing to participate in this exhibition. “The registration period for those interested in participating has been extended until October 14. Conditions have been set for those wishing to take part in this event. The goal is to open commercial opportunities for entrepreneurs and companies in our country,” stated Tiava Ny Kanto Rajohnson, Director General of Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Commerce and Consumption, yesterday in Antaninarenina.
Among the products that will be highlighted are processed food products intended for export as well as various products derived from mineral resources. This exhibition, accompanied by a presentation of Malagasy products, will also be followed by a major meeting between Malagasy and Chinese entrepreneurs in Beijing, starting on November 12.
Approximately 150 Chinese entrepreneurs will participate in this meeting dedicated to trade exchanges. The objective is to develop close commercial cooperation between Madagascar and China.
