Authorities are drawing lessons from the fire that occurred within the Allée des Baobabs (Avenue of the Baobabs) protected area in October 2025. Firebreaks that are accessible to vehicles are currently being constructed within the site, located in the Fokontany of Bekonazy, in the Bemanonga Commune of Morondava. This new measure aims to reinforce the fight against fires while facilitating easier access for emergency response teams.
