To mark its 23rd anniversary, RDJ 96.6 FM is preparing a major celebration by bringing together four of Madagascar’s most popular artists on one stage: Denise, Shyn, Ljo, and Ceasar. Scheduled for this Sunday at the Palais des Sports Mahamasina, this grand event will also honor Malagasy music through several unique duets and the participation of surprise artists, whose names will be announced later.
For Denise, this invitation holds a special significance. Having been featured on RDJ airwaves since the beginning of her career, the singer views this concert as a tribute to her journey. As a multiple winner at the RDJ Mozika Awards, including Artist of the Year, she sees this celebration as a mark of trust and recognition. “Since the start of our career, RDJ has always supported our music. It is a great joy to be honored as an artist of this station and to continue supporting Malagasy music. I am ready for this celebration, especially since I rarely perform at the Palais des Sports,” she shared.
Shyn shares the same sentiment of gratitude. Present in the RDJ universe since 2005, he believes this invitation rewards years of collaboration. “It is a huge honor to have left a mark on several generations and to have been chosen to celebrate RDJ’s 23rd anniversary. We are preparing a show that the public has never seen before in Antananarivo. This will be a preview before our participation in the Makua Festival in Toamasina,” he explained. He also noted that RDJ is recognized for the quality of its productions, particularly due to its technical facilities, and specified that the organizers are doing everything possible to start the festivities early to ensure the event runs smoothly under the best security conditions.
Public enthusiasm is already evident. According to the organizers, 70% of the tickets have already been reserved, while the organization promises to maintain a level of quality that meets expectations.
