On Thursday, September 24, the Malagasy National Commission for UNESCO, located in Behoririka, hosted a conference dedicated to Sorabe, the Arab-Malagasy manuscript that constitutes a unique documentary heritage. As a true memory of the East Coast communities, Sorabe recorded the Malagasy language in writing for the first time using the Arabic alphabet.
