Residents of Mahasoa, a hamlet in the Ambinanidilana fokontany, located in the Ambinanidilana commune, Mahanoro district, Atsinanana region, were alerted yesterday morning after the discovery of a man’s body in the water. The young man is estimated to be between 18 and 20 years old.
According to information gathered on-site, the body had been wrapped in plastic and weighed down with stones before being thrown into the water, which leads witnesses to believe that the objective was to conceal the body.
