LEARNING – Hundreds of books strengthen the Madirokely library

At the start of the new school year, access to reading has been strengthened in Madirokely. Several hundred books were donated this month to the library of the local public primary school (EPP), allowing the institution to enrich its collection and providing students with more resources to learn and develop their love for reading.

“This donation is intended to strengthen the school’s documentary collection and facilitate students’ access to reading,” explains Rochel Randriafidy, the school’s principal.

This initiative is led by Sanna Amida, president of the association Graines d’Avenir Nosy Be and patron of the Association of Disabled Women and Children of Nosy Be. Her actions primarily target children from disadvantaged or single-parent families, as well as members of beneficiary associations. “I help children in public schools because I believe that every child deserves the same chances to succeed, regardless of their family’s situation,” she emphasizes.
