A tomb in Morafenokely was broken into. While it was initially suspected that human bones had been stolen, this was not the case at all. Nothing inside the tomb had been touched or disturbed. However, the jewelry buried with the deceased was taken by the criminals. Silver and gold items were stolen. In short, the dead in the tomb were stripped of their jewelry. This represents a new form of criminal activity.
