CAF President Patrice Motsepe will convene the executive committee next week to evaluate the ‘FIFA Forward Enterprise’ (FFE) project, which aims to raise funds for global football development. While FIFA insists it will retain control and that private investors would only hold a 20% stake, the project faces significant pushback from European, North American, and Asian confederations.
Separately, in Madagascar, Prime Minister Mamitiana Rajaonarison has urged a shift in mindset and work methods to drive national reform. Speaking at the semi-annual budget execution review at the Ivato International Conference Center, he emphasized that small changes in behavior and the elimination of administrative bottlenecks are essential for the country’s progress. He warned that poor work habits will no longer be tolerated and that officials must prioritize results over bureaucratic hurdles.
