Reward. Livio Ratianarivo, Anthony Rasolomanana, and Arnol Solondrainy have just received a new rank promotion within the National Police. The three police officers from the Malagasy national basketball team were promoted to a higher rank during a badge-awarding ceremony held in Ivato on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
Livio Ratianarivo and Anthony Rasolomanana, two members of the Ankoay team crowned African champions in 2025, have become police officers. Their teammate, Arnol Solondrainy, has been promoted to the rank of police inspector.
In 2023, when Livio Ratianarivo and Arnol Solondrainy were crowned African champions, they had already received a promotion. In 2024, both players again obtained a special rank advancement, this time alongside Anthony Rasolomanana.
This new promotion serves as a mark of recognition from the State towards these athletes, who contribute to the performance of Malagasy basketball and represent the national colors on the continental stage.
