A new milestone has been reached for the future of the Malagasy education system. The new Technical Assistance Mechanism for the Education Common Fund (DAT-FCE) was officially launched yesterday at the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training in Ampefiloha, in the presence of the relevant sectoral ministries.
Faced with immense needs and a significant increase in mobilized funding, the major challenge now lies in strengthening the capacities of national institutions to translate these resources into concrete results for learners.
The mission of the DAT-FCE is to provide sustainable support to ministries and relevant structures in strengthening their capacities for planning, management, monitoring, and steering. This strategic support aims to improve the efficiency of public spending, accelerate the implementation of national priorities, and consolidate the achievements of the FCE while supporting ongoing reforms.
This collaborative approach will help break down silos by fostering better inter-institutional coordination, greater coherence of interventions, and a shared vision of sector priorities.
