Hospitalized in India since April, Honorat is continuing his treatment and showing slight signs of improvement, while doctors evaluate the possibility of surgery.
Honorat’s health is gradually evolving. Evacuated for medical emergency to India, the artist is currently being treated at the Miot Hospital in Chennai, where he was admitted on April 16. Since his arrival, he has been receiving regular medical follow-up and a series of in-depth examinations to assess his situation.
According to his son, Faniry, Honorat is now on the road to recovery. A slight improvement in his condition is noticeable daily. “He is on the path to recovery. We see a small evolution in his health,” he explained, adding that his father is less tired than when he first arrived.
The possibility of surgery remains under study and has not yet taken place, contrary to rumors on social media. Faniry explained that doctors must first assess whether Honorat is fit enough for an operation. The decision rests entirely with the medical team.
Since his admission, Honorat has undergone several in-depth medical exams, including scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds. For now, the artist continues his treatment under medical supervision, with his family respecting medical confidentiality and the protocols established by the doctors in India.
