The Madagascar Coalition for Child Rights (MCCR) has officially launched the “Fanasoa” project, an initiative aimed at strengthening birth and marriage registration to prevent child marriage in the country. The targeted intervention areas are Atsimo Andrefana and Atsimo Atsinanana, where rates of early marriage have reached alarming levels.
