The “Hosotra” festival has spanned several terms, dating back to the tenure of the city’s first magistrate between 1980 and 1990. “It is thanks to him that the name ‘hosotra’ was coined,” revealed Petit Maître, an artist and member of the organizing team. This year, “Hosotra 2026” is being held from August 8th to 29th at the Antaninarenina Gardens.
