The debate on political refoundation is taking a new turn. Hajo Andrianainarivelo, national president of the Malagasy Miara-Miainga (MMM) party and former minister, responded to the ‘Gen-Z Movement for Refoundation’, which is calling for the removal of veterans from political life in Madagascar. ‘Democracy is based on respect for differences and the opinions of others,’ he stated.
