Finding an internship, landing a job, or exploring entrepreneurship: this was the goal of the ‘Company Day’ organized on October 15 at the premises of the National Institute of Accounting Sciences and Business Administration (INSCAE) in Antananarivo. This major event directly connected the student community with over 25 partner companies and a dozen startups.
With CVs in hand, students of all levels—from freshmen to graduating seniors—were able to showcase their skills, engage with company representatives, and target potential recruitment opportunities. For employers, this day served as a prime platform to scout for new talent and identify future collaborators.
Mihaja Navalona, a young entrepreneur who launched a rum business last February, shared the challenges inherent in starting a venture. Recalling his participation in a sales operation during a reforestation project, he noted: ‘It was difficult and very stressful. Today, I am relearning the art of sales.’ His journey illustrates the reality faced by young business creators, who must balance the search for market outlets with the need to build customer loyalty.
