Electoral Roll Reform: Low Involvement of Political Parties and Civil Society

Civil society and political parties remain largely inactive in raising awareness among citizens regarding registration on the electoral roll. The President of the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI), Thierry Rakotonarivo, has expressed regret over this situation and is calling for greater mobilization. In particular, civil society has shown limited visibility in monitoring the establishment of the electoral list.
