A system to be extended nationwide. Following a successful pilot program in Betsiaka, within the district of Ambilobe, the Ministry of Mines is planning to deploy the system of collecting royalties at the source throughout all gold-producing communes in Madagascar. According to the Minister of Mines, Carl Andriamparany, this method has proven effective.
