A new five-year project titled ‘Smart Clean Cooking’ has been launched in Madagascar, supported by 35 million USD in funding from the OPEC Fund. ‘Madagascar is the first country to benefit from such an initiative with a budget of this scale, aimed at ensuring access to clean cooking technologies,’ the report stated.
