FOOTBALL – TRAINING CLUB – Delta United Demands Versatility

First talent scouting session. The technical staff of the football training club Delta United launched the recruitment of their future U17 and U20 players this Saturday at the Esca field in Antanimena. Approximately three hundred interested youths in the relevant age categories responded to the call from the new training club.

“The required criteria include, among others, mastery of technique, tactics, ball retention, dynamism on the field, and above all, versatility in different positions, being able to adapt to all game situations,” specified the head technical official of Delta United, Titi Rasoanaivo, former national coach of the Barea who won gold at the 2005 Cosafa U20, and former coach of CFFA and Tana Formation.

The scouting campaign will continue soon at the Ambohidratrimo field, before extending to other regions of the island. The series of scouting sessions will run until October. The club plans to participate in the upcoming Analamanga championship. The goal is to train and guide players toward high-level performance, then integrate them into major D1 elite championship clubs, and eventually help them move to clubs in the region or in Europe.
