The State and the Compagnie Générale d’Hydroélectricité de Volobe (CGHV) have opted for an extension. Both parties have agreed on additional time to finalize the Volobe 2 hydroelectric project, which involves the construction of a facility with an installed capacity of 127 megawatts. “They have given themselves until June 2027 [for the financial close of the project],” sources reveal.
