The Moramanga Museum, inaugurated on March 29, 2011, is now in peril. Throughout this time, no maintenance has been carried out, and the same applies to the museum in Toamasina. Despite a steady stream of visitors, including students, resident tourists, and international travelers visiting the largest public institution in the Alaotra-Mangoro region, the facilities remain neglected.
