Jonathan Rakotoharinivo secured the boys’ title by defeating Nithael Andrianirina from Saint-Joseph Mahamasina in the final with 2 sets to 0 (21-12, 22-20). In the girls’ category, Manou Jesimaela Razafitsara claimed the crown after her victory against Patricia Andrianarison from Saint-Michel Itaosy with the same score (21-18, 21-9). These two champions are expected to join the national team for the upcoming 2027 CJSOI Games.
Two other badminton players from the Vakinankaratra club fell at the final hurdle. Voary Ramandimbisoa was defeated in the U15 girls’ final by Brenda Fanomezantsoa from VTTK Ivato in 2 sets to 0. Her younger sister, Sarobidy Ramandimbisoa, lost in the U13 girls’ final against Valisoa Randriamananjara from Saint-Michel Itaosy, also in two sets.
FBCA thus confirms its strong performance at the national youth championship. In 2024, it won two titles in the U15 boys’ and U11 girls’ categories, as well as three runner-up spots. In 2025, Futura achieved a hat-trick in the U17 boys’, U13 girls’, and U11 girls’ categories, while also securing a runner-up spot in the U17 girls’ category.
Founded by Andriamparany Rakotoharinivo, who serves as the technical director, this club, which also functions as a badminton school, currently has ten registered members.
